The desk’s two for Friday: Edgewood at Sauk Prairie, Kaukauna at Appleton North
PrepMania moved kick to 6 because of the rain. Badger Small, both 3-1, free on ESPN Madison YouTube. Then the only 2-0 FVA clubs meet at Paul Engen Field.
WISCONSIN — Thursday gave you Bay Port 44-7 and West De Pere 42-0. Friday gives you volume, rain, and a free stream that kicks an hour early.
Game one: Edgewood (3-1) at Sauk Prairie (3-1). Badger Small. ESPN Madison moved kick to 6 p.m. because of the weather. Zimbrick Honda’s PrepMania on the ESPN Madison channel — same slot that carried Lakeside Lutheran at Lake Mills and Craig at Memorial. The video is posted. The Watch page is holding it. If you only open one tab Friday, open that one.
Game two: Kaukauna (3-1) at Appleton North (3-1). FOX 11’s Game of the Week. The only two clubs still 2-0 in the Fox Valley Association. Kaukauna is D2 No. 6. North is D1 No. 10. Muhammad Jobe ran for 241 and two at Kimberly two weeks ago. Brock Struensee is the Lightning’s hammer — more rush yards than the whole passing game. Paul Engen Field. Rain. Ball handling.
The undercard is a real Friday, not a leftover. Marquette at Catholic Memorial. Kettle Moraine at 4-0 Arrowhead. Oconomowoc at 4-0 Muskego. Hamilton at Brookfield Central. Homestead at Cedarburg. Green Bay West at Menasha in the Banta Bowl. Bradley Tech at Reagan at 6.
ScoreStream is on the board. Last night’s finals are on it. Tonight’s cards flip at kick. The stream is 6.
