Muskego 28-0. De Pere 40-14. Friday did what Friday does.
Scoreless first in Muskego, then 28 unanswered. The Redbirds handled Appleton West. Grafton 49-28. Kaukauna 35-21. Arrowhead 45-21. The board is the scores.
MUSKEGO — The desk’s two for Friday both ended the way the poll said they should, and not the way a 0-0 first quarter advertised.
Muskego 28, Catholic Memorial 0. ScoreStream had it scoreless after one. Then 14 in the second, 7 in the third, 7 in the fourth. The Crusaders never got on the board. They walked out of Schneider Stadium last week down 34-14 to Arrowhead after a 14-14 half. Twenty unanswered then. Twenty-eight unanswered now. Muskego is 4-0. Catholic Memorial is 2-2. The Warriors just shut out a Top-5 problem in their own building. That is the statement.
The other desk game was a Fox River Classic that did not stay a game. De Pere 40, Appleton West 14, from Nowak Family Field. The Redbirds are 3-1. The Terrors are 3-1 after walking in 3-0. ScoreStream had it. If you only watched one Friday besides Muskego, that was the one.
The undercard was a real Friday, not a leftover. Grafton 49, Nicolet 28 — Black Hawks 14-21-7-7, Knights 7-7-0-14. Kaukauna 35, Neenah 21 on the ScoreStream board. Ryan Carrel threw for two and ran for three. The Ghosts stay atop the FVA. Arrowhead 45, Brookfield East 21. The Warhawks are 4-0. Franklin 56, Marquette 17. Notre Dame 52, Sheboygan South 0. West De Pere 38, Ashwaubenon 0. Bay Port 58, Green Bay Southwest 7. Pewaukee 27, Wauwatosa East 8. Oconomowoc 29, Brookfield Central 13. Germantown 24, Mukwonago 17. Hamilton 49, Kettle Moraine 14.
PrepMania never posted Friday’s YouTube game. Thursday’s Craig at Memorial — Memorial 44, Craig 27 — is the replay. The board is the scores. The desk is the recap.
