Verona 27-0 on YouTube. Arrowhead 35-0. Thursday is Hilbert. The next stream is Friday.

WISCONSIN — Friday shut people out, twice, and one of them was the free stream.

Verona 27, Middleton 0. The YouTube game. Zimbrick Honda’s PrepMania on ESPN Madison. Big Eight. Verona walked in 4-1. Middleton walked in 3-2. Verona walked out 5-1 and 4-0 in the conference. Middleton is 3-3. MaxPreps has the final. The replay is on the Watch page. Last year’s score in this series was Middleton 23, Verona 14. Friday was not that game.

The desk’s other Friday was not a game either. Arrowhead 35, Oconomowoc 0, from Rux Stadium. Homecoming. Classic 8. Cooney was 4-1 and On3 had them in the top 10. They did not score. Warhawks 6-0. Cooney 4-2. If you only watched one Friday that was not on YouTube, that was the one.

The undercard was a real Friday. Bay Port 55, Appleton West 7. Pirates 6-0. Neenah 21, Appleton North 14. Lightning 4-2. Hamilton 48, Catholic Memorial 14. Muskego 31, Franklin 6. Homestead 42, Whitefish Bay 20. West De Pere 35, Pulaski 10. Phantoms 6-0. Monona Grove 56, Sun Prairie East 21 — Jaxon Zukowski scored through the air after the Silver Eagles already had the first half. Notre Dame 49, Oshkosh North 0. Freedom 49, Little Chute 29. Waunakee 49, Sun Prairie West 0. Pewaukee 56, West Allis Hale 0. Kaukauna 28, Fond du Lac 27. Manitowoc Lutheran 28, Oostburg 0. Lancers are 6-0. Hilbert 44, Reedsville 13. Milton 7, DeForest 6. That last one matters on Friday.

Thursday, the one that already happened, posted Reagan 14-6 and Bradley Tech 36-0. That recap is still up. This Thursday is not a city night.

Thursday, Oct. 1: Manitowoc Lutheran (6-0) at Hilbert, 7 p.m. That is the Thursday game. Hilbert just put 44 on Reedsville. The Lancers just shut out Oostburg. The other Thursday is Reedsville at Oostburg, 7 p.m., and Ozaukee/Random Lake at Howards Grove, 7 p.m. That is the lakeshore. It is not the Fox River Classic, and it is not YouTube.

The free ESPN Wisconsin game is Friday, not Thursday. ESPN Madison said it on the Week 5 broadcast: Week 7, Sun Prairie East at Milton. Both are 3-3. Badger Large. Kick is 7. They have not posted a video ID. The Watch page is holding the live tab. When they go up, it plays there.

The two biggest games of the week are Friday too, and the desk is not pretending otherwise. West De Pere (6-0) at Bay Port (6-0), 7 p.m., Bay Port homecoming and senior night. Muskego (5-1) at Arrowhead (6-0), 7 p.m., Arrowhead homecoming, red out. If you only open one tab that is not YouTube, open Bay Port.

The Power Poll turned. Arrowhead stays 1. Bay Port is 2. West De Pere is 3. Verona jumped. Catholic Memorial did not. High School On SI has not posted a ballot since Sept. 21. This one is the WST desk after Friday.

Recruiting: nothing new on the Wisconsin high school board this weekend. No flip, no fresh commit the desk can hang a name on. The 247 list is the list.

The board is the scores that posted. The stream is Friday at 7.
